In marine reef aquarium, it is critical that Iodide level is sufficient to ensure healthy soft and hard coral growth.

MultiTest Iodine & Iodide provides over 75 high-accuracy tests and includes a multi-cavity test plate for multiple tests.

Natural Seawater Iodide
The concentration of iodide in natural seawater is 0.06 mg/L. It is advisable to maintain the iodide concentration of your marine aquarium close to that of natural seawater.

Concentrations above natural seawater may not be harmful, and, within limits, may even be beneficial, but one should not maintain the elevated concentrations for prolong periods.

With this innovative Seachem MultiTest Iodine/Iodide test kit, you can perform quantitative tests for iodine or iodide. It measures iodine or iodide to an accuracy of less than 0.005 mg/L. The color scale peaks at 0.10 mg/L.

This test kit is good for over 75 tests and contains a reference sample for validation.
