Seachem Clarity uses advanced polymeric flocculating agent that clumps up and precipitates fine particles in water, resulting in larger particles that can now be removed by regular mechanical filtration.

How Clarity Works
Upon adding Clarity to the water, a cloudy haze begins to form. This is normal and means that Clarity is beginning to work.

The water is filled with tiny pieces of floating matter that were not visible to the naked eye. Clarity makes those pieces of matter clump together, forming a cloudy residue.

Normal mechanical filtration will in no time remove the cloudy residue. This is because fine particles that were once too small and slipped through the mechanical filter media will now be caught by the media.

In order for Clarity to work effectively, you should have a filter with mechanical filtration (e.g., filter floss) connected to your aquarium.
