Care product against digenic flukes and tapeworms in reptiles
sera med Professional Tremacestol reliably removes dangerous parasites from the digenic flukes group (Acanthostomum, Hapalotrema, Vasotrema and Heronimus species) as well as tapeworms (from the genera Ophiotaenia and Bothrium) in reptiles. Besides its excellent efficiency, the preparation is also very well tolerated.
An examination of the feces is inevitable for a proper diagnosis of an infection by flukes or tapeworms.
This medicine is important for those that feed live feeders to their pets such as Green Tree frogs, turtles, snakes and etc. A lot of times, live feeders that are being fed could have parasites in them and as your pet ingests them, they become infected.
Do note if you have more than one pet in the enclosure, it might also get infected with parasites as well. So if you are introducing a new pet into an enclosure with existing reptiles, it is advised to properly quarantine and deworm the reptile before introducing them into your set-up with your other pets.
If your pet shows the following symptoms and you suspect it has been infected by parasites, you may want to feed them this medicine.
Here are the symptoms:
-Poor appetite
-Weight loss
-Vomiting or regurgitation
-Abnormal appearing stools
-Diarrhoea
Worms can sometimes be seen in a reptile’s feces or vomit, but even if worms are not seen, they can certainly still be present within the animal’s body.
